safe place is a solo exhibition by Alicja Crave, a Polish-born artist and digital photographer based in France. In her work, Alicja uses long exposures, post-production tools, mixed media and drawings, giving her images a multi-dimensional and surreal feel. Much of her work is conceptual and, using elements of performance, Alicja explores the issues of identity and representation.
safe place is the first in a series of 9 exhibitions during 2018 in 76m2, Pontypool by the*kickplate*project, with the support from the Arts Council of Wales, Torfaen Council's Arts Development and Pontypool Community Council.
