Our #ffotonsocial for 2 April 2019 is back in Cardiff’s Little Man Coffee with the sickeningly talented Brian David Stevens as our special guest speaker!

Showing a selection of his very fine Notting Hill Sound Systems work as part of Diffusion Festival in Cardiff 1-30 April, Brian has kindly accepted our invitation to talk about his photography and approach to his recently-published new book Doggerland - in addition to work from some of his other highly creative photography projects.

With 60 pages of stunning black and white images and published by Another Place Press, Doggerland is…

…a complex joined-up narrative of elements perceived through glass – this is found images, but images all looked-for: sought, perceived even a little in advance, where the right picture is thus in itself its own reflection.

Something of all that is what you see with eyes half-silvered anyway – is no more than just that thing which we all call photography.
