Quickly establishing itself as a destination to see photography throughout the year, Found Gallery in Brecon’s latest themed group exhibition Enlightened Landscapes features work by photographer Jon Roberts who will be showing some of his iconic images from an ongoing project documenting the UK's 15 National Parks.
His project began in response to the Future Landscapes Report on designated landscapes in Wales. He utilized a similar approach to 19th Century photographer Carleton Watkins using a film camera with a vintage large format lens to give panoramic views with a sense of space and scale. The panoramic images will be accompanied by portraits and extracts from interviews of people who live and work within the National Parks.
