A WHISPER STIRS THE SILENCE: PHOTOGRAPHS IN SNOWDONIA by John Clow
Ffotogaleri y Gofeb in Machynlleth is hosting an exhibition of the late John Clow’s fine art prints of Snowdonia - with a selection of SILVER-GELATIN VINTAGE PRINTS from Clow’s large format negatives available to purchase.
As described by the gallery:
”ROCK CLIMBER, LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHER, PAINTER, POET. THE PRINTS IN THIS EXHIBITION OF JOHN CLOW’S PHOTOGRAPHIC WORK IN SNOWDONIA ARE, IN EFFECT, A DISTILLATION OF THE CRAFT REQUIRED BY EACH AND TOGETHER ARE TESTIMONY TO HIS CHARACTER”.
The exhibition runs from 12 June to Wednesday 21 December 2022.
