A new joint exhibition that uniquely combines Pete Davis’ classic black and white prints from his early 1980‘s series ‘Great Little Tin Sheds of Wales’ with Antonia Dewhurst’s ‘Haearn’, a modern day colour study of the corrugated iron woven through the fabric of the rural Welsh landscape.
In 2017 Pete held a major retrospective exhibition at the National Library of Wales, featuring his work from across six decades. Great Little Tin Sheds of Wales was notably the first major body of work Pete produced after moving into the landscape from a city environment.
There is also a talk by Pete Davis in Oriel Colwyn about his work on Friday 13th April at 7pm.
Supported by the National Library of Wales.
Runs 12 March - 28 April 2018.
