Documentary photographer Roger Tiley is a valleys boy, born and bred.
For more than thirty years, he has chronicled the plight of mining communities in Wales, Yorkshire and North America at first hand.
The confidence and trust he established with these communities has rewarded him with life long friendships and a unique perspective on their very real fight for survival.

There will be a Q&A following the talk with an opportunity to discuss the legal implications faced by photographers covering protests.

Dan Wood knows Bridgend inside out.

Steering a project from concept to print is no small achievement. The publication of his book, ’Suicide Machine’, is the culmination of five years of engagement with this South Wales town. Dan will discuss bringing a long term project to a close and collecting the work in his first book with new Independent Publisher Another Place Press.

There will be a Q&A following the talk with an opportunity to discuss Dan's work, his preference for shooting film and publishing work.
