Billie Charity’s exhibition might be hard to beat when it comes to the proximity of the subject of the photographs and the gallery where they’re hung. Her ongoing project, The Bench, places a focus on the patrons of a welcome posterior rest just outside the front door of Thru The Lens Gallery in Hay-on-Wye where the photographer is co-curator with gallery owner Andrea Milsome.
