Ffoton Talks

A new monthly Photography event in Wales

Ffoton Talks

A new monthly Photography event in Wales

"Will Ffoton host events?"
It's a question we've been asked many times over the last 12 months as we've meT photographers around Wales socially or recorded them for our monthly conversations.

We know that photographers enjoy meeting and talking with others but there appears to be very little happening around Wales on a regular basis other than local Camera Clubs. So we thought our 3 month takeover of The Littleman Coffee Co. for our #urbanwales photography exhibition April-June would be an ideal opportunity and venue to try a new early evening Photography event format that mixes an informal social and special guest photographer talk.

After a bit of email jiggery-pokery we're really chuffed to announce the 3 guest photographers helping us launch Ffoton Talks.
Although each has their own distinctive style, all have very strong portfolios of work built over many years of hard graft and, importantly, building empathy and trust with people they photograph in public places, events or protests.

Scroll down this page to learn a bit more about each of these talented photographers and grab one of the limited 30 places available to hear them speak about their work and have a relaxed chat and drink afterwards. Places for each Ffoton Talk are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can only be booked here on the Ffoton Wales website. We hope you can join us!
