Inspired by the early Cyanotype work created by Anna Atkins in the mid-nineteenth century, Phrame Wales Collective are showing a selection of images by theri members in the main gallery of Llanarnum Grange in Newport.

Ode to Anna is a celebration of the legacy of Anna Atkins, not only highlighting the lasting impression she has made on the photographic world and its history but celebrates the important and multi-faceted presence of women in the history of photography

Phrame Wales was co-founded in 2018 by Celia Jackson and Lisa Edgar, with the aim to promote and support emerging female photographers and females working in photography in the South Wales area.
