Documentary photographer and film maker Roger Tiley has lived in the South Wales valleys all of his life. Having studied photography under Magnum photographer David Hurn at Newport, he has worked on numerous commissions for national newspapers and magazines including work published in the Times, Sunday Times, Observer and Guardian newspapers respectively.

We asked Glenn Edwards, a long-time friend, photojournalist and Director of The Eye International Photography Festival to have this Ffoton conversation with Roger.

Y mae'r ffotograffydd a'r gwneuthurwr ffilm Roger Tiley wedi byw yng Nghymru ar hyd ei oes. Wedi astudio ffotograffiaeth o dan ofalaeth David Hurn y ffotograffydd Magnum yng Nghasnewydd fe weithiodd ar nifer o gomisiynau i bapurau newydd a chylchgronau.
