Y mae Claire Thomas yn newyddiadurwraig  ffotograffig yn hanu o Sir Gaerfyrddin ac yn teithio'r byd yn tynnu lluniau sy'n dogfennu materion yn ymwneud a hawliau dynol ac mewn ardaloedd lle mae gwrthdaro a rhyfel. Y mae Claire yn rhan o grŵp bychan o ferched sy'n gweithio yn ardaloedd peryglus y byd sef y Dwyrain Canol a Palesteina. Fe gafodd Ffoton y fraint o sgwrsio gyda Claire tra ar ymweliad byr yw chartref a chyn iddi fynd ar aseiniad i Irac.
