It was a wet and windy Sunday evening for the opening of night 'Standing Still' - an exhibition of monochrome film work by two Ukrainian fine art photographers, Sergiy Lebedynskyy and Alexey Ostrovskiy, and curated by The Kickplate Project.

We spoke with the two lovely and enthusiastic Kickplate founders Dafydd Williams and Zosia Krasnowolska about the exhibition, analogue photography and their mission to bring fine art photography to more small towns in the valleys. Ffoton wishes them all power to their elbow.

We highly recommend seeing this work if you can!

'Standing Still' opened on Sunday the 22nd of February and runs until 8th March at The Abacus,  St David's House, 18-20 Wood Street, Cardiff CF10 1ER (opposite Cardiff Central train station)

Yr oedd hi'n noson wlyb a gwyntog ar gyfer agor arddangosfa 'Standing Still' arddangosfa wedi ei drefnu gan brosiect Kickplate o waith ffilm du a gwyn gan ddau ffotograffydd cain o'r Wcráin Sergiy Lebedynskyy a Alexey Ostrovskiy.

Cawsom sgwrs gyda sylfaenwyr brwdfrydig y prosiect Dafydd Williams a Zosia Krasnowolska am yr arddangosfa analog yma a'u bwriad i gyflwyno gwaith ffotograffig cain mewn trefi bach yn y cymoedd. Y mae Ffoton yn dymuno rhwydd hynt iddynt!

Os oes ennyd sbâr gyda chi ewch i weld y gwaith sy'n rhedeg o'r 22ain o Chwefror tan yr 8fed o Fawrth yn Yr Abacus Tŷ Dewi 18-20 Wood St  Caerdydd CF10 1ER gyferbyn a'r orsaf drenau yng nghanol y ddinas.
